Your guide to loving Greensboro as much as I do.

We are a city marked by colleges and universities, artists and craftspeople, major corporations and small businesses, great restaurants and breweries — and friendly people from all walks of life. I know because I’ve lived here my entire life! I’m so happy to welcome you to a city and a community that is dear to my heart. Join me for a tour of the area, and I’ll help you discover some of the best neighborhoods the south has to offer.

I love how work, life and leisure intersect here.

Here are some of my favorite ways to spend time in this lively, emerging city that is #SoGSO.

Compassion and caring run deep.

Greensboro’s generosity astounds me. I’ve watched this community join together to support and further so many causes and important initiatives. One of my favorite demonstrations of loving your neighbor is the annual Sunset Hills Running of the Balls. Each holiday season, this incredible, historic neighborhood — my home — becomes a wonderland of colorful light and community spirit. All of Greensboro comes together to enjoy the warmth and beauty — from street to glowing street — and to take part in a meaningful tradition that makes an impact for others: A 5K run/walk as well as canned food collections to support Second Harvest Food Bank. With the greater community’s help, this effort provides meals to the North Carolinians who need it most with donations all season long.

From the colleges and the culture to the parks and the people, Greensboro is a great place to call home. Let’s make it your home, too.
